SUMMER SPORTB. WELLINGTON, May 8. The census of summer sports shows that racing and trotting have 25,000 members; lawn tonnis has 19,251; bowling, 15,055; cricket, 10,831; swi inning, 6668; croquet (mostly women), 2480; ana rowing, 1916.
There is a holly tree near Pisa, in Italy, which is said to be 600 years old
