PARLIAMENTARY NEWS.
SHORT SESSION PROBABLE. WELLINGTON, April 23. In tho ordinary course of events it ii understood that Parliament will meet about June 25, and it is gathered from a letter by Sir R. Heaton Rhodes (Minister of Defence) that the session will bo short. Replying to a correspondent who was inquiring about legislation on certain mattery Sir R. 11. Rhodes says that owing to tho state of Mr Massey’s health and tne probability, in consequence, of a short there will be no time to devote to them.
