At a meeting of the Christchurch Fire Board, held on Thursday, after a discussion on the recent court proceedings, a motion was carried that the board severely censures Superintendent Warner for the happenings connected with the incident on December 20, and in view of the excellent service rendered by the superintendent for the past 13 years no other action be taken at present.
