Wheatley (Minister of Health) is the leader of the malcontents, and ho intends summoning conferences at various centres during the recess to discuss a resolution demanding Socialistic legislation, especially measures to deal with unemployment. Mr Ben Tillett told the annual conference of the Social Democratic Federation that there was a great deal of Conservatism in the Labour movement. He said he saw little difference betwen the present and previous Governments on important points except that the present Government had’ more talk.
