1923 Chicks Doing Well Thanks to Karswood Chick Powder (containing ground insects) Here is positive proof from a practical poultry farmer that chicks fed on Karswood Chicken Powder feather better and grow faster than others from the same stock, not fed on Karswood. It is with pleasure that I again write to you re Karswood Chicken Powder. I have a gentleman friend who, this season, has taken up poultry keeping on a large scale. He has some 300 head of birds, supplied by me, on his farm in Surrey. I have advised him to use Karswood for his birds. I have some chicks out of the same hatch as he has, and look so well and have feathered beautifully. Mine have been fed on Karswood Chicken Powder from birth. His chicks do not look so wtell,. and have not feathered at all well, as mine. He called on me to-day, and after seeing how well my chicks were, said: “ I shall certainly have to try some Karswood." I am certain that if all who could find room for, say, half a dozen fowls would take them up and ado?c Karswood Poultry Spice, containing ground insects, they would be well repaid. A great many people this season are complaining of dying chicks. All who have seen mine (and I have several thousands) think them a wonderful lot for size and vigour, and asked me how to rear them. I can only say keep the houses and feeding utensils spotlessly clean, use plenty of disinfectants, and try Karswood Chicken Powder (containing ground insects). I am sorry I cannot give exact egg records, as I do not trap-nest. Still, we keep a very sharp lookout on our pens, and know how our flocks are laying. As all my eggs are marked with the pen number each day, therefore when I sort the eg&s I know exactly how the flocks are laying, and, as you know, there is not enough money going round at the moment to make a farm pay on exhibition fowls only, therefore I have to 1-cly on my egg sales, which are enormous, and even at the low price of the eggs to-day I am able to make a good premt ana nav w'aces.
