A very unusual visitor to these parts, in the shape of a white crane (says the Southland ’limes), was noticed the other afternoon feeding in the reeds bordering the beach at Clyde street station. The bird Beemed to be quite tame, and the departure of the Bluff train from the station did not disturb it in the least.
