-—Master 11. Abe, Corrigan, Western Australia, writes: “When developing long films people often have considerable trouble in keeping tuem in the developer. Here is something that will help them. Take a piece of string about a foot in length and a piece of paper 3in wide. Wind the paper round tho string until the roll is about half an inch in diameter. Tie it over the dish containing the developer so that the paper can turn round easily. Take the film to be developed and thread it under the paper, which keeps it in the developer. Then pull the film to and fro with a seesaw motion until developed.” What is wisdom but having a great deal to say and keeping silent.
