THE RAILWAY SERVICE.
WORK OF INQUIRY BOARD WELLINGTON, July 15 Mr Gilmour secretary to the Railway Inquiry Board, stated to-day that the Minister of Railw-ays had extended the date by which the board w-a s required by the order of reference to report from July 31 to August 12. He added that the board had expected to complete its report early in August. The board had adjourned in order to enable the sittings of the Arbitration Court in Westland and Marlborough, which had been twice postponed, to be completed.
