A difficulty has arisen over the rights of anglers to secure access to Rotorua lakes (says an exchange). Some Native interests are reported to be in question, and Mr R. 11. Bollard, Minister of Internal Affairs, intends calling a conference of Ministers whose departments are interested in the matter, with a view permanently to adjusting the difficulty, as the Government is the principal licensing authority concerned in angling in that district.
