With eggs selling at present prices you simply cannot afford to allow your 1923 pullets to remain in the ranks of the unemployed. Make them earn their keep by putting them on to Karswood forthwith. Eggs are eggs just now, and of all the foods at your command, Karswood Poultry Spice (containing ground insects) is proved to produce the most eggs for the least money. Read actual results on this page for positive proofs that poultry pay when fed on Karswood. Mot One Winter Day V, ithout Eg: s. 44, Baker St., Creswell, near Mansfield, Notts. As a constant user of Karswood Poultry Spice for this last five years, wdth very good results, I think it is rny duty again this year to let you know the results for the last 12 months. I had seven White Leghorn chicks, hatched on May 28, 1922, and they commenced to lay on October 28. 1922, at five months old, and by October 28, 1923, they had laid 1,585 eggs, an average of 226 eggs each bird and three over. I might say that these birds were kept under backyard conditions, but given Karswood Poultry Spice when chicks, as these were, it kept them fit. There was not an egg-less day in the first eleven months of their record, and always looked in the best of condition. Karswood Poultry Spice bill is under a farthing a day, and look what the egg-record says. Dec. 1, 1923. A. GARDNER. Egg Supply increased 200 per cent. C/o P.O. Whangarei. Since using Karswood Poultry Spice we find it very beneficial to the fowls whilst moulting. Since using Karswood Spice the egg supply increased fully 200 per cent, and the hens looked, and were, the picture of health. I can thoroughly recommend everybody to purchase Karswood Spice for their poultry, and follow directions and they 'will have the best results. January, 1924. H. PAWSON. This Letter Speaks Volumes. Stockwood, near Redditch, Worcs. I am very pleased to give you details, also correct record of twelve months’ laying of my 44 Mayhatched, 1922, White Leghorns. These birds commenced laying on November 27, 1922. Below are monthly records of eggs laid by above birds, -which I bred myself, and reared on Karswood from dayolds. Nov. Read proof on this page. I am also pleased to say my Aprilhatched 1923 pullets, White Leghorns, are putting up some decent figures, having laid just on 400 eggs since second week in November, 1923. Also my White Leghorn pullet is leading in the single-bird test in Worcestershire Laying Contest, commencing November 1, 1923. She has laid 17 first-grade eggs in 28 days, and is leading her section by three eggs. You may make what use you like of this letter, as I think it speaks volumes for your good foods, which I am very pleased to use. I have fed Karswood to my birds now for 12 years with the same excellent results, and I can safely say that no one in England has any healthier or more robust stock than myself. Dec. 3, 1923. W. WILSON. Would Not Like to be Without it. Hangiputo, Manganui County. “Before coming to New Zealand I had tried a number of Poultry Powders and Spices, but found none to give as good results as Karswood, and would not like to be without it as long as I have anything to do with poultry. Enclosed please find cash for a further supply.” A. E. MOUNTFORD. March 2nd, 1924. A Fine Two Years’ Record. 16, Trelawney Rd., Brislington, Bristol. You will remember my sending you my record of 2,296 eggs laid by nine White Leghorns in their pullet year. I am sending you my record for their second year, which is 1,538, making a total for the two years of 3,834. I *et three liens, from which I reared 32 chicks, 18 pullets, and 14 cockerels, having only one unfertile egg. The chicks were hatched May 20, and are new laying well. I had 274 eggs in November from the 18 birds, which I think is very good, considering- they were late hatched, and November being a very cold month. I might say I reared my chicks on Karswood Chicken Powder, and did remarkably well. I am now feeding with Karswood Poultry Spice, of which l shall always be a user. I don’t think it can be beaten. If you think it worth while you can make use of this letter. Wishing Karswood every success. Dec. 4, 1923. D. HOOKINS. Made Such an Improvement Railway Cottage, Ohakune June. July 5, 1922.
