OUTRAM SPORTS.

Weather conditions were ideal for the Outran! Sports Ciub’s athletic meeting, held on the Recreation Ground, Outram, on the 24th ult. There was an estimated attendance of 300 people, many of whom came from Dunedin and surrounding districts. The gate money totalled £5 ? 18s, and the meeting was a huge success in every way. The officials in charge of the sports proved very capable, and they did a great deal towards making the meeting the success it was. Messrs A. Chisholm and A. J. Stewart, Joint secretaries, gave every satisfaction in the manner they handled their work, and there was net a hitch all day. The judges were as follows:—Running Messrs A. Walker, T, Tracer, and it.
