CHRISTIAN NAMES TAXED. LONDON, August 22. The Brussels correspondent of The Times says that the administrators of the village of Keisele ,Flanders) have im posed a tax on Christian names, hoping in this way to repair the Budget deficit. The Polish Government has completed its financial scheme, and the Parliament has adopted the Property Tax Bill, by means of which it is expected that 1,000,000,000 gold francs (at th e normal rate of exchange £4u,000,00!}) will be raised. The money will be devoted to sanitation and to the restoration of rolish finances. Half the amount will be paid by farmers and 375,000,000 francs by various industries and commercial interests. The remainder will be raised by other forms of property taxation. The tax will be payable in six annual instalments.
