In the course of his address when opening the Taranaki A. and P. Society's Winter Snow, Dr C. J. Reakes, Director-general of Agriculture, showed that there had been decided increases in . production all round—-butter-fat for the dominion 31 per cent, on last year s and 180 per cent, on the figures of 10 years ago, and for Taranaki 19 per cent, and 69 per cent, respectively.
