Til London there is a pottery factory conducted by a woman who has succeeded her father fn the business. Most of the employees are women, who do the designing, moulding, painting, etc., but tnere is a man to shape the clay on the potter s wheel. As the articles are made by hand, their prices are rather high, but they have individuality, and are of excellent quality. The proprietress specialises in making beautiful articles for household use. There is a pottery shop in connection with the factory, and orders are received irom many art firms in London and elsewhere.
