IMPERIAL CONFERENCE.

INVITATION TO MR MASSEY. WELLINGTON, May 30. A cable message received by Mr Massey from Mr Morgan, president of the British Empire Producers’ Organisation, considers it is extremely important for the expansion of Empire preference that Mr Massey should attend the Conference. Mr Morgan's telegram was received by the Prime Minister through the Governor-General, who stated: “I have this morning received a cable message embodying a message tor you from Mr Stanley Baldwin, in which ho states that the changes in the Government in Great Britain will not affect tae arrangements for the Imperial Conference and the Economic Conference in the autumn, and that he is looking forward to meeting you in October.—(Signed) Jellicoe.’’
