WELLINGTON WING WHISPERS.

By

Peter Pan.

ATav 25. - Rear “Fasquin.”—Sir Harry lander has finished his brilbant season, and has left on a tour of the “smalls” of this province. The season was a great one in every respect. The famous comedian is even better than he was on his previous visit here, and the audience could not have enough of him And he was very generous, occupying the stage for a full hour, and sometimes longer. He promises another of his “annual farewell tours.” for, as he says, he loves Now Zealand, wit ch reminds him of the West of Scotland. Lauder’s supporting company is an excellent one. All-vaudeville at His Alajesty’s is proving very popular, and big houses have been the rule oil the week. The outstanding item is Los Klichs in an electric marionette turn, which is a derided novelty, and received with shouts of delight by the children at the rru'-nees. Kranes, comedians and acrobats, are quite good, and Mario La varre is a refined comedienne who wears some magnificent frocks. The Stagpooles, patter artists and dancers, also give a good turn. We are not likely to see the “Stiffy and Mo” Revue Company for some time, as they are packing the Opera House at

Auckland and are now in the twelfth week. Air Williamson, the advance manager for the Linelie Pnlini Company is in town. J his fine company is due on 2nd June, when '‘My Lady’s Dress” will be presented.
