SUGAR SUPPLIES.

GOVERNMENT TO RELINQUISH CONTROL. AUCKLAND, Alay 24. It is the intention of the Government to relinquish control of New Zealand’s sugaf supplies within the next three months. This was announced by Mr Massey this evening. He said Government control of this commodity would cease not later than the beginning or the middle of August next. The neecessary arrangements for the change were being made.
