In February last I put in a pig eight weeks old and killed the same on November 1. The dead weight of pig after being bung up was 25 stone, minus all offal and head. I feed on sharps, house waste and boil< d potatoes, and give only a sufficient quantity for them to clear up at each feed, as 1 consider a good many causes of failure, both with pigs and poultrr, are due to over-feeding. They not only improve the appetite of the pigs, but keep (hem in a good, healthy, thriving condition.
