RIFLE SHOOTING

NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIP. WANGANUI, December 27. Ideal shooting weather prevailed at the Putiki rifle range to-day, when the Wanganui Rifle Association’s North Island Championship was commenced. The range was in splendid condition, and a steady, clear light and an absence of wind until the last match was being finished made the -shooting pleasant and interesting.
