BANKRUPTCIES DURING TEN MONTHS.
For the ton months of the present year 596 bankruptcies have been registered in New Zealand, as < ompared with 256 for the i same period last year. Of the 596 bankruptcies this year the farminp industry contributed nearly half the total, and eight groups accounted for 374 out of the 595 insolvencies. The figures are as under: -
