In computing the lines of space to bo occupied, advertisers are notified that they can reckon six words to the line. All words over 30 are, there fore, charged at 6d for each six words. Announcements of Births*, Marriages and Deaths sent by post for publication must bear the signature of our agent, a clergyman, or a J.P. Charge for these, 3s each prepaid, or 4s if booked, when Hot exceeding five lines, and 6d for each line over five, “in memoriam” notices are inserted at the same rates, but when verses are added an additional charge of 6d per line is made for each line of space occupied.
