LIPPE WILL CASE

HUSBAND’S CLAIM DISALLOWED. MELBOURNE, August 16. The Chief Justice, in giving judgment in the Lippe will case, disallowed the claim of the husband, who is a mountain guide in New Zealand. Three-fourths of the estate goes to Mrs Lippe’s housekeeper. [Application was made for probate of a draft copy of a will made in February, 1921, bv Airs Lippe, of Hollywood, Kyneton. who died of injuries received through casting herself from the cliffs at The Gap, Sydney Heads, on June 14, 1921. The exeoutor of this will, Mr Bruce Pitcairn lledderwiok, solicitor, ’ alleged that a later will, unde* which Charles Ernest Alacalister Smith wa# tlie sole beneficiary, was invalid. A caveat against the probate application was lodged oil behalf of Airs I.ippe's husband, John Nicholson Lippe, a mountain guide in New Zealand.
