WAR AFTERMATH.

FRENCH T 3 ATTLEFI ELD S. PARIS, April 21. A Toulon telegram states that three French workmen were killed and three injured through explosions of shells from the British camp at Ktaples, which continued throughout the day. The danger of the explosions spreading to sheds full of asphyxiating shells was only averted late at night. CEAI FT FRIES IN ENGLAND. LONDON, April 23. Sir James Allen has completed a tour of 15 cemeteries in the south-west of England. He found that the New Zealand graves were fairly well tended. In at least two cemeteries he discovered that no one was responsible for the upkeep of the New Zealanders’ graves, though the Australian and Canadian graves were provided for. He immediately took action to remedy the position. Sir James Allen paid a tribute to the devotion of the ladies who tended the graves. The most outstanding work, he said, was being done at Brockenhurst.
