Diplomatic correspondents assert that as the result of pressure on the League of Nations the long-contested dispute regarding the Albanian frontiers is nearing a settlement on the basis of full recognition of the independence of Albania. The settlement follows roughly the 1913 frontiers, and involves the evacuation by the Serbs of a considerable portion of territory occupied since 1918. WOMEN I)ESIRE RE I>RESENTATION. SYDNEY, October 14. The Women Citizens’ Association of New South Wales has decided to urge that a representative of the women of Australia shall be appointed to the League of Nations.
