RETRIAL OF TK KAIIU. HAMILTON. August- 2. T lie retrial of llakaria 1 e Kahn on a charge of having murdered Richard Elliott at Ongavoio on Easier Sunday commenced in the Supreme Court this morning, before Mr Justice. Stringer. The court was crowded. Tin- jn i -oner was calm, and liis appearance did not betoken severe menial sfvain. Dming iiir.u-eor.ition lie put on a good deal o: weight. At the firs! trial I ho jury disagreed. Dr Bertram, in hi- evidence, said an examination of the body showed two wounds in the neck which were sufficient to cause , lea -1:.
