ALLEGED CHILD MURDER.

CHRISTCHURCH. July 22. In the Magistrate’s Court Hilda Louisa Burgess, aged 16, was charged with the murder of her newly-born child, and was committed for trial. Bail was allowed in two sureties of £2OO each. Accused was ordered to remain in the Salvation Army Home U 1 her trial.

Hares are very plentiful txr tho Bulls district. A party of three guns secured a bag of 70 during a recent week-end.
