OTAGO v. OAMARU. The telegraph match between these two clubs, which was commenced on tho 16th inst., was concluded on Saturday evening, and resulted in a win for Oamaru by one game. The players and officials were once more indebted to the president’s wife (Mrs T. M. Gillies) for kindly providing refreshments. During the evening a challenge, which was accepted with pleasure, was received from the Oamaru Club to play the return match over tire board in Dunedin on August 13, the evening after the first Springbok test match.
