MINK OWNERS' SIDE OF THE QUESTION. . , .WELLINGTON, July 5. r urther replying to Mr John Avbuckle secretary of the Miners’ Federation. Mr T. O. Bishop, acting secretary of the Mine Owners Association, referring to the question °f accommodation for miners on the Lest C oast, suites that to-dav there are 25 more men employed at Blackball than there 'sere on May 1. AU these men have been eiccornmooated, and there are still several empty cottages in the town. Mr Bishon further points out that, in 1920. 632 men were employed at Mifievton and Dc-nuiston, while the total in 1914 was 1146.
