THE IMPERIAL CONFERENCE
DOMINION SHORT SESSION. (From Our Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, February 20. 'Die Prime Minister hopes to leave for the Imperial Conference about the middle of April. The session of Parliament, ho says, should not occupy more than 10 days. There will bo no formal motion proposed as to his attending the Conference. The only Bill will be an Imprest Supply Bill—unless anything urgent transpires—and the issue will be decided on the question of voting Supply.
The Vaterlnnd, Germany’s great liner, which possessed a tonnage of 55,000 tons, and had 11 decks, has been taken over by America at a valuation of 15,000,000d0l (normally £3.000,000).
