Peter Bain, an old Gabriel Gully digger, aged 82 years, who was committed to the Benevolent Home about 12 months ago, was picked up bv Constable MQuitt# in the vicinity of Glenore on Friday night making back to his ojd haunts (reports the Bruce °Herald). The remarkable vitalitv of the old man is evidenced by the fact that lie had covered over 40 miles since leaving the home the previous afternoon, and on each of his four attempts to visit the scenes of his labours he has succeeded in reaching the vicinity of Milton.
