In the Flat Races the winner of any race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 10lb, and of every additional race a further penalty of 6lb. Horses handicapped at Sst 10lb or over to carry only half tire above penalties. 2. The committee reserve the right to alter the date or time for declaration of weights, nominations, or acceptances as they may think fit. 3. Owners arc reminded that the fee to the Accident Insurance Fund and Riders’ Losing Fee must be paid before starting, and the Provident Fund fee of £1 must be paid to the New Zealand Trotting Association before nomination. 4. All nominations and acceptances made by telegram must be confirmed immediately by letter, giving full particulars of the horse, breeding, colours, etc. Anyone omitting t*> do so will be fined, enforced. 5.
