BONUS WILL NOT BE PAID. WELLINGTON, January 11. The Government has given its final decision regarding, the disputed bonus to P. and T. officers. In a letter to the secretary of the association, the Prime Alini.ster says the Government docs not propose to take any further action. Mr Massey holds it is clear that the intention was that any second bonus granted should cease Immediately regrading took place, and he. quotes Sir R. Stout’s report in favour of the Government’s contention.
