Rain stopped Davis Cup play at Eastbourne during the Singles between W. M. Johnston (America) and Gobert (France). Johnston was leading. July 10. In the Davis Cup contests Tilden and Johnston beat Gobert and Laurentz, 6—2, 6—3, 6—2.
