Kaituna defeated Port Chalmers in the A Grade matches on Saturday by 10 sets, 100 games, to four sets, 73 games. St. Andrews No. 2 defeated Balmacewen No. 2 by seven sets to four sets.. Owing to the condition of the courts after rain, play was not commenced at Christ church iri the intorprovineial match Canterbury v. Otago. Wyndham defeated Gore Citizens at Go-,-e by 118 srames. and 10 sets to 103 games and nine sets. BRITISH ISLES v.. QUEENSLAND. In the Singles. Lowe (England) defeated Peach, 6—o. 6—2. 6—l and St. John. 6—2, 6—l • Beamish (England) defeated Wilson, 6—3,' 6—2, and Peach, 6—2, 6—l. In the Doubles, Lowe and Beamish defeated Paach and St. John. 6—o. 9—7. 6—4. 6—4. 6—2. and Radch'ffo and Wilson, 7—5, 6_2, 6—4.
