THE KENNEL CLUB.

A meeting of the Otago Kennel Club was held 'on the 25th. Mr -R. Conn occupied the chair.

The secretary (Mr L. S. Gibson) reported that ha had forwarded the names of the winners at the I)og- Show to the New Zealand Kennel Club for its confirmation befoie paying out the prize money. The statement of accounts was submitted (o the meeting, and showed that the newlyformed Kennel Club had been successful in

its venture, being able to show a substantial balance, enabling them to meet all payments, including the new and up-to-date plant. The secretary was instructed to apply at the semi-annual meeting of the New Zealand Kennel Club for a fair share of challenges for their next annual fixture.
