Farmer Giles asks: —"If my neighbour burna the dividing fence between us, is he liable for the full cost of repairing the fence?" Answer: Yes. Jock asks:—"l am renting a place, and the rent is -payable quarterly, but there is no agreement as to the duration of the tenancy. What notice am I entitled to?" Answer: One calendar month's notice. Ploughman.—You are entitled to the amount due to you, but you must prosecute your claim within six years from the date the wages were owing to you. If you are certain as to your facts, you should sue for the amount owing to you.
