ADMINISTRATION OF SAMOA.

COLONEL TATE APPOINTED. WELLINGTON, November 6. It was announced by the Defence Minister to-day that Colonel Robert Ward Tate had been offered and had acoepted the position of Civil Administrator at Samoa. He went to Samoa, early this year to relieve Colonel Logan as Acting Military Administrator.
