Frederick Jacßson pleaded guilty in the court at Christohurch to the attempted theft of a motor cycle. The accused tried to make off with the cycle during a cricket inatch at Hagley Park, but was overtaken l)y the players, who abandoned the game tp give chase. .He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
