CHRISTCHURCH, June 2. The Canterbury Traction and Stationary Engine-drivers, Firemen, and Greasers' dispute was before the Conciliation Council, and wages were agreed to as follows: —■ First-class certificated engine-drivers, Is 6£d per hour; second-class certificated enginedrivers, Is sd; traction drivers, Is 6Ad; firemen and grensers, Is 3A/1. Plus bonus all round. ~Yo-itbs' wages were fixed ds follows:—18 to 19 years, lOd; 19 to 20, Is. Overtime ratr.s ai;d btatutory holidays were agreed to, but tho question of an annual holiday was held oyer for further consideration.
