PROGRESS OF DEMOBILISATION. WELLINGTON, May 30. The latest returns received by the Defence Minister regarding the progress of demobilisation show the position on tin 27th inst. as follows:—Strength in France 30, in the United Kingdom 16,942, patients in hospital in the United Kingdom ZBC. men with wives and families in the United Kingdom 1239, nurses and Red Cross workers 162, total members evacuated from" the United Kingdom since the armistice, 28,039.
