The finding of a district court-martial, held at Trentham Camp on May 7, having been confirmed by the'Commandant of the Forces, is now promulgated. Private Thomas Barrett, late C Company, 36th Reinforcements, for deserting his Majesty's service, was sentenced to imprisonment with hard labour for 12 months, and he was also ordered, to suffer stoppage of pay, amounting to £4 12s Id, .for loshtg his equipment, clothing, and regimental necessaries.
