The Urewera Native lands are being inserted on the Whakatano County valuation roll and will increase the rateable value of the' county from £1,000,000 to £1,500,000. It is -intended, if the Natives do not pay the rates, that judgments shall be obtained and registered with the Native Land Court for action when the Natives dispose of their land.
