A Presbyterian sale of work held at Geraldine proved a great financial success, and the manse fund will benefit by the sum of about £l5O. Among the takings was one of the stolen National Bank notes belonging to series A 600201 -601000. At the Bank of New South Wales next morning the teller at once detected the £1 note as one of the forged notes, and handed it bacji to tho treasurer.
