ALLEGED BREACH OF AGREEMENT. WELLINGTON,' May 6., Tho coal miners on the West Coast did not work on May 1. They announced that they were having a holiday in celebration of May Day. This stoppage is regarded by the employers as an aggravated breach of agreement under -which the mines nominally are- being operated.
