ARRANGEMENTS FOR ISSUE.

ROLLS BEING PREPARED. WELLINGTON, May 8. In connection with the issue of a general war medal the New Zealand Defence Department is preparing rolls of the recipients, and making arrangements for the_ distribution of the modal. It is also proposed to issue to all members of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force an illuminated certificate showing each man's record of service. There will to two classes of certifioat') —one for sol-diers-with oversea service, the other for soldiers with not less than 12 monthe' home service. It is not intended to issue certificates of dischargo to tho men in training here when tho armistice was signed, but to discharge them <?n bloo by proclamation at the conclusion of peace.
