* WELLINGTON, April 30. Thirty-seven nurses returned by the Tainui, and as it was the largest body of nurses yet returned by ono ship, occasion ■was taken to accord a welcome to them, and to as many as could be assembled of the nurses who came by earlier transports. The party was entertained by Sir James Allen and Ministers of the Crown at Bellamy's. Sir James Allen offered vhe'nurses ft hearty welcome, and tendered them the ttianks of the whole country for the splenlllid work they had done in the war. Miss M'Lean, matron-in-ehiof of the Nursing Service, replied, expressing the toursee' appreciation of the fact that the New Zeaand Government had allowed them %6 go and nurse their own sick and Wounded.
