GERMAN MINES.

FORTY-FIVE ACCOUNTED FOR ON NEW ZEALAND COAST. WELLINGTON, May 10. It is considered fairly certain now that no German mines are anchored in tho minefields off the New _ Zealand coast, though precautions are still being observed by shipping. The only mines located in recent months have been those found on tho coast where they had drifted ashore. The number of mines accounted for is approximately 45 out of 60 mines laid. # It is exceedingly improbable that all the mines will ever be accounted for, since some may have sunk and others exploded on unsettled portions of the coast.
