RULES AND REGULATIONS. All races to bo . run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. Entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity, under a penalty of 2sovs. Owners are responsible for all penalties and allowances. Prior to any race the Stewards may order a parade in front of the grand stand. The owner of any horse absent from such parade without the permission of the Stewards will bo fined 2sovs. In all Handicap Flat Races on first and second days, where not otherwise stated, the minimum weight will be 7st, and on the thiid day the minimum weight will be Ost. Owners and Trainers will only be admitted to the bird cage immediately before and directly after any race in which they have a horse engaged. The winner of any race after declaration of weights may he rehandicapped. Nominations for Jumpers' Flat Handicap must submit names of riders by Saturday, 31st May.
