WELLINGTON, May 1. The total postal and telegraph revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 1919, was £473,123 com Dared with £506,353 for the first quarter of 1918. The Savings Bank deposits during tho quarter ended March 31, 1919, amounted to £5,865,473; withdrawals, £4,|829,473; and tho excess of deposits over withdrawals £1,036.005. The figures for the first quarter last year were: Deposits, £4,434,730; withdrawals, £3.349.322; and the excess of deposits, £1,084,408.
