THE CRAVES OF NEW ZEALANDERS AT MUDROS.
We have received a communication from Mr P. Li. Smith, an old Dunedin boy, who has been for some 14- months engaged on a transport running between lnd:a and the Mediterranean. This was accompanied by some photos which ho took of the New Zealand section of the cemetery at Mudros, in which, a number of New Zealanders who were wounded on Gallipoli and succumbed subsequently were buried. Unfortunately, the heat had spoilt the negatives, and the photographs would not reproduce satisfactorily. Mr Smith, who, by the way, was connected with the Kailan Mining Administration, Shanghai, before the war, copied the inscriptions on each grave, and for the satisfaction of relatives mentions that the graves are well looked after by tho military authorities at Mudros.
